To reset your Veeam repository password, you'll need to use our cloud portal first. Once you've set the new password there, you'll need to update it in your local Veeam console.
Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Resetting the Password in the Cloud Portal
- Navigate to our Cloud Portal: https://services.offsitedatasync.com/
- Log in using your email address (your Portal Login).
- Once logged in, click on the details of your Veeam Cloud Connect service.
- Find the section for the credentials and click on the three dots (...) on the right-hand side of the page.
- Select RESET PW.
- Create and confirm your new password.
Important Note: Please record this new password and keep it safe in your documentation. For security reasons, we do not store or track passwords. If you lose it in the future, you will need to reset it again using this same process.
2. Updating the Password in Your Veeam Console
After resetting the password in the portal, you must update the repository credentials on your Veeam server to match the new one.
- Open your Veeam Backup & Replication Console.
- Go to the Backup Infrastructure section.
- Navigate to Service Providers.
- Right-click on your Service Provider entry and select Properties.
- On the Credentials step, enter your newly created password and click Next through the remaining screens to complete the wizard.
This will ensure your Veeam server can successfully connect and send backups to your cloud repository!
