Add a VPN User

    Overview

    This article will guide you through the steps to add a VPN user to your DR environment so they can remotely access your workloads.

     

    Launch Edge Gateway Settings

    1. Open Edge Gateway Services.
      1. From the top navigation bar, select Resources, and click the Cloud Resources tab.
      2. In the left panel, click Edge Gateways.
      3. Click the radio button next to the name of the target edge gateway, and click Services.
    2. Click the SSL VPN-Plus tab.
     

    Add a User

    1. On the SSL VPN-Plus tab, click Users.
    2. Click the Create button.

    3. Configure the following options for the user.

      OptionDescription
      User IDEnter the user ID.
      PasswordEnter a password for the user.
      Retype PasswordReenter the password.
      First name(Optional) Enter the first name of the user.
      Last name(Optional) Enter the last name of the user.
      Description(Optional) Enter a description for the user.
      EnabledSpecify whether the user is activated or deactivated.
      Password never expires(Optional) Specify whether to keep the same password for this user forever.
      Allow change password(Optional) Specify whether to let the user change the password.
      Change password on next login(Optional) Specify whether you want this user to change the password the next time the user logs in.
    4. Click Keep.
    5. Repeat the steps to add additional users.
