Enabling encryption on a pre-existing Online Disk is a simple process, but it varies depending on what version of the software you are using.
For Jungle Disk (Formerly Workgroup), sign in to your Control Panel at secure.jungledisk.com, click on Online Disks drop down from the top of the page, and select Manage/Add Online Disks.
This will take you to a list of your Online Disks. Scroll until you see the name of the online disk you want to encrypt. Here, you will see a sentence that says "This online disk is not password-protected" with an edit button next to it.
Once you hit "edit", you will be asked to enter a password for the disk. Enter your password and then click Set Password.
WARNING: IF YOU LOSE THIS PASSWORD, IT CANNOT BE RESET! IF YOU CHOOSE TO ENCRYPT YOUR DISK AND LOSE THE PASSWORD, THERE IS NO WAY TO RESET THE PASSWORD OR RETRIEVE YOUR DATA!
At this point, you can also choose to "store" your disk password in our system for safekeeping. If you choose this, the password will be saved on this page.
For all other versions of the software, including Server Edition, Desktop Edition, and Simply Backup, you will have to do this through the Jungle Disk software installed on your computer.
Once you have the software open, click the Configure button, click Show Advanced Options in the bottom left corner of the window (if it's not already checked), hit the + next to your Online Disk to expand it, and beneath this, you will see the Encryption sub-menu. Click on this and you can set an encryption password for your Online Disk.
