This KB article provides step-by-step instructions for migrating existing data in KISOBM. If you encounter migration errors while the account and backup sets show the latest version the "Migrate existing data" option can be used as an alternative solution. Please see Ticket #467589 for reference.

Procedure:
-
Check Users Summary
- If you are getting a migration error after the backup set and account have been migrated to the latest version check the customer's user summary.
- Pull up a customer account in my client and select log into the server
- Select User, Groups, and Policies
- Hit ctrl+f to search with the account user name and click on the correct user
- Select statistics
- switch the tab from usage to summary
-
Manual Backup with Data Migration
- If the data shows it's a previous version or if you know data hasn't been fully migrated
- Go into the KISOBM application
- Select Backup
- Select advanced settings
- select the "Migrate existing data" option.
-
Initiating the Manual Backup:
- Initiate a manual backup with the updated settings to enforce the data migration.
- Once the backup is started the migration will take effect!
Congratulations! The migration process is now successfully initiated. :)
