You can suspend backup for an individual backup policy, or for an entire computer. You can suspend all backup policies for an agent computer when you want to temporarily stop backing it up, for example, while you perform maintenance. Suspending a backup policy stops that policy from running until you or another user enables it. Suspending backup does not affect restores.
Suspending a computer will not prevent you from being billed for LiveVault Web Portal services. To avoid further billing and to eliminate server status emails from being sent you, you must uninstall the agent software and delete your computer.
Disable Backup for an Individual Policy
To disable backup for an individual policy

In the Navigation Pane, select the agent computer.

Select the Backup tab.

Click Edit Backup for the selected backup policy.
The Backup Configuration page opens.

Select the Options tab.

Select the Disable this policy check box.

Click Next.
The Backup Confirmation page opens.

Click Done.
Backup of the selected backup policy is disabled.
Suspend Backup for an Entire Computer
To suspend backup for an entire computer

In the Navigation Pane, select the agent computer.

Select the Properties tab.
The Computer Properties page opens.

Click Edit.

For the Backup is Enabled option, select Suspend.

Click Save.
Backup for the entire computer is suspended.
