You must resume backup for each policy on a computer whose backup policies were temporarily disabled, or for the entire computer if you suspended backup for the whole computer.
For example, you may have disabled backup policies while you performed maintenance. Backup will remain disabled until you or another user resumes it.
Resume Backup for an Individual Policy
To resume backup for an individual policy

In the Navigation Pane, select a computer.

Select the Backup tab.

Select the backup policy and click the Edit Policy link.
The Backup Configuration page opens.

Select the Options tab.

Clear the Disable this policy check box.

Click Next.
The Backup Confirmation page opens.

Review the configuration for the policy.
Click Done.
Backup for the selected policy resumes.
Resume Backup for an Entire Computer
To resume backup for an entire computer

In the Navigation Pane, select a computer.

Select the Properties tab.
The Computer Properties page opens.

Click Edit.

For the Backup is Enabled option, select Resume.

Click Save.
Backup for the computer resumes.
